Musical Influences
I cannot even begin to put all of it in a box...I grew up listening to such a variety of music from Petra to Madonna to Amy Grant to Aerosmith to Simon and Garfunkel to Rich Mullins...and on and on, and now you can find a crazy variety of music in my collection. I absolutely LOVE worship music...but I can find a place on my iPod for any genre really.
Favorite Places
I am sadly under-traveled but I was born and raised in California and consider it to be incredibly beautiful and varied. I live on the Central Coast and think of it as my own little paradise (people come here to go on vacation!). But as far as other places, Hawaii is high on my list, as well as Colorado. I would love to go to: Ireland, England, Italy, Australia, Zambia, Columbia, all of the East Coast of the U.S.
I also love the beach, coffee shops, comfy couches, church, and anywhere I am surrounded by the people I love.
Favorite Things
Singing. Dancing, especially swing. God's word. Hanging out with kids (I baby sit a lot). Spending quality time with friends. A good home cooked meal. Watching movies. Listening to GOOD music, live or via recordings. Writing (on my blog, songs, or poetry). Laughing. A good conversation. Sunsets.

What's a fun fact about you?
Often times I am so used to singing harmony that I forget what the melody is if I am asked to sing it on the spot. I have to think about it, whereas the harmonies come naturally. If I am singing along to anything, you will almost always catch me singing a harmony.
Favorite Needtobreathe show you've been to
Definitely the one on 10/22/09 at Cafe Du Nord. The set was fun and raw...and I love when the guys unplug and get real with the audience. Added bonus was getting to meet the whole band and having like an hour conversation with Joe! He was so easy to talk to. It was a good night. :)
